VITEBSK, 11 April (BelTA) – An exhibition of innovative projects from researchers and manufacturers of Vitebsk Oblast will be held as part of the investment and innovation forum “Vitebsk Oblast Investment Initiatives” for the first time on 20-21 May, representatives of the Economy Committee of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee told BelTA. The forum is supposed to invigorate bilateral cooperation between regions, towns, economic entities, to contribute to increasing the export and investment potential, to help realize joint investment projects, to present innovative ideas and projects. More than 100 companies and organizations of Vitebsk Oblast are expected to present their business projects before potential investors. It will be the first time when successfully implemented joint business projects will be showcased before participants of the business forum. In addition, the forum will offer consultations regarding business and investments and a closer look at Belarusian legal acts, which are meant to liberalize the economy and spur private initiative. Guests will be able to visit companies, towns and districts of the oblast. They will be able to see the sites designated for realizing business proposals first hand. The forum is organized by the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. Representatives of German business circles have already confirmed they will participate in the forum.
