Vitebsk launches ‘loyalty system’

VITEBSK, 1 July (BelTA) – A ‘loyalty system’ has been introduced in Vitebsk, BelTA learnt from the trade and service department of the Vitebsk City Hall. Six stores in the oblast center have introduced a ‘loyalty system’ to improve social security of the low-income population. These outlets have offered a 3-5% reduction to trade markups for pensioners, disabled and WWII veterans. The campaign has been supported by large trading networks such as Euroopt and Vesta as well as Vitebsk state-run and private companies. The social program to support low income people has been joined by the Vitmil catering outlet. Molodezhnoye cafe offers pensioners a 30% discount for fixed meals from 12pm to 2pm. The ‘loyalty system’ has been introduced in consumer services, too. The Mir Uslug Plus hairdressing salon provides a 25% discount to pensioners, disabled people, mothers with many children, and students. Photographer services of the above-mentioned salon will be 50% cheaper for pensioners and the handicapped. Social security effort in Vitebsk will continue. At least 25 stores and services are expected to join the list of the facilities providing discounts to low income people in the region.
